I was lucky enough to go to Ulta on my birthday last week and splurge on some awesome skincare products! The majority of the clean beauty skincare products I had been eyeing were on sale for buy one get one 40%, and I could not resist! Check out the 8 products I purchased on my birthday Ulta haul.
My Ulta Haul:
These are all the products I bought in my birthday Ulta haul:
- Pacifica Vegan Collagen Hydrating Body Oil
- Pacifica Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Body Serum
- Provence Beauty DayDream Cream Adaptogen Moisturizer
- Provence Beauty No Baggage Adaptogen Eye Cream
- Provence Beauty Immortal NightMilk Youth Restore Facial Serum
- Provence Beauty Masked Out French Green Clay Mask
- Vacation Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30
- Hero Cosmetics Mighty Chin Patch
Pacifica Vegan Collagen Hydrating Body Oil
This special formulation contains oils that penetrate your skin and has an exquisite jasmine scent. This Pacifica Vegan Collagen Body Oil is designed to keep your skin’s hydration locked in, while aiding in restoring its smoothness, suppleness, and luminosity.
I recently purchased the Pacifica Vegan Collagen Body Lotion Spray from this same product line but have not been drawn to use it as it was just an “okay” product. However, I did love the scent, and since I saw they came out with a body oil version in a glass bottle, I just had to give it a try. Review coming soon!
Important to note: as I have found with most Pacifica Beauty products, skincare and hair care, their product packaging may look super pretty, but it is typically not of the highest quality. You have to be very careful when using the pump, as it can push too much product out at once.
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Pacifica Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Body Serum
This serum is designed to be a quick-acting body treatment that utilizes facial-grade ingredients. It helps to remedy more than just dryness, as it is formulated to also even out skin texture and bring back a radiant glow. After use, you will be left with a luminous complexion.
I have recently been hearing nothing but good things about incorporating retinoid ingredients into your body’s skincare products, so when I saw this new product, it felt like perfect timing.
Yuka app rating: 86/100
Provence Beauty Products
This was the first time I saw this French brand in Ulta Beauty and was happy to find a new clean beauty brand to try out! Since all the Provence Beauty skincare products were on sale, I was able to add the following to my Ulta haul:
- Provence Beauty DayDream Cream Adaptogen Moisturizer
- Provence Beauty No Baggage Adaptogen Eye Cream
- Provence Beauty Immortal NightMilk Youth Restore Facial Serum
- Provence Beauty Masked Out French Green Clay Mask
Each one of these skincare products was rated 100/100 on the Yuka app. I will be doing a full Provence Beauty review when I can use all the products in my Ulta haul soon!
Provence Beauty DayDream Cream Adaptogen Moisturizer
This Provence Beauty moisturizer is formulated with a blend of herbs and adaptogens to soothe and hydrate your skin, helping to maintain its natural balance of moisture. It is enriched with ancient Eastern herbs and modern science to visibly calm and plump the skin.
I sadly have not yet found a clean beauty daytime moisturizer that I consistently enjoy using. I am hoping for the best with this gel-like moisturizer. The texture is like no other moisturizer I have ever tried, it almost looks and feels like an egg white, if that is even possible.
Once I finish up my current moisturizer, this is the next moisturizer I will incorporate into my daily skincare routine.
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Provence Beauty No Baggage Adaptogen Eye Cream
This Provence Beauty eye cream claims to be designed to hydrate and visibly firm the delicate area around the eyes, giving a refreshed and well-rested look. The calming formulation contains adaptogenic mushrooms known for their skin-soothing, firming, and hydrating properties.
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Provence Beauty Immortal NightMilk Youth Restore Facial Serum
This powerful combination of retinol, niacinamide, and sensamone P5 peptide in milky serum claims to help restore skin overnight, reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles, brightening skin tone, and calming visible irritation.
The name “Immortal NightMilk” alone was enough to get me to purchase this product. Since I just turned 26, I have been trying to be more consistent with my preventative skincare. I am always scared to try a product containing retinol due to my sensitive skin, but the reviews looked promising!
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Provence Beauty Masked Out French Green Clay Mask
This green clay mask has a creamy, smooth texture that helps to exfoliate and deeply cleanse the skin, drawing out any excess oil from the pores. It claims to leave your complexion looking more radiant and clear.
Who doesn’t love a good clay mask? I am so excited to try this product out, pores definitely need some cleansing, especially my nose!
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Vacation Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30
Not only does the Vacation brand packaging draw you in, but the ingredients in their mineral sunscreen are something to be excited about. As I have been desperately searching for a clean body sunscreen for months now, it is refreshing to see a body sunscreen without the typical harsh ingredients.
Since I am going on multiple beach vacations this year, I thought this Ulta haul was the perfect time to purchase a new body sunscreen to test out! Once I wear and try this out for a couple of months, I will report back with my review. Fingers crossed for good results!
Yuka app rating: 100/100
Hero Cosmetics Mighty Chin Patch
Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Original has been my go-to pimple patch for the past couple of months. However, I have been breaking out more than normal on my chin, having to use multiple pimple patches solely on my chin. I was always hesitant about purchasing the chin version because it only includes 10 in a pack for $17.99, but since it was my birthday, I splurged a little!
I was able to test the Hero Cosmetics Mighty Chin Patch once, and I must say that since you have to wear it for 6-8 hours or overnight, it can be a little uncomfortable. It feels tight and can be weird to talk while wearing it, so I recommend putting it on right before you go to bed so you can forget about it and go straight to sleep. I did not see much of a difference after one patch so far, but I will update after I finish the pack!
Side note: since the patch was wrinkly from my jaw movements, it did make my chin wrinkly when I woke up and did not go back to normal for at least an hour.
More Ulta Hauls to Come!
If you love skincare product hauls, you are in the right place! I will keep up posting the clean beauty brands, makeup, hair, and skincare products I purchase and share them with you all!
