I had the pleasure of visiting one of Marina Del Rey’s most beloved waterfront seafood restaurants, Killer Shrimp, while on a two-day layover at LAX in September 2023. The restaurant is nestled along the scenic marina and has earned a strong reputation for serving up mouthwatering seafood dishes and breathtaking waterfront views. Killer Crab Claws Entree

This is the dish I personally had for my dinner entree, and it was absolutely amazing! It was hands-down my favorite meal I ate all year.

I have never had crab claws pre-opened for me as they prepared theirs. There was no need to spend hours opening up crab; it was immediately ready to eat and devour. Which devour is exactly what I did. The rosemary seasoning was the cherry on top for me. It added an extra dimension that was absolutely delicious.

I cannot recommend this meal enough! However, be warned: if you do not live in the area, you will be craving this meal for years to come.

Killer Shrimp Entree

This dish is a true showstopper, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on anyone that is lucky enough to try it. For example, my future father-in-law said the last time he had this dish was close to 30 years ago, and he still thought about it so much that it was the first restaurant we went to in California.

Killer Shrimp, Crab, and Lobster Entree

This dish is very similar to the classic Killer Shrimp, but also includes crab claws and a lobster tail. My fiancé really enjoyed this meal!

Shrimp Scampi

The Shrimp Scampi was one of the non-spicy options to choose from. My future mother-in-law said it was absolutely delicious!

Killer Spiced Fries

We also got their Killer Spiced Fries as our side dish. They were delicious and had a huge serving size. It was perfect to split between two to three people. They were regular fries but had their famous Killer Shrimp spicy seasoning on them.

Bread, Bread, and More Bread!

If you are a bread lover, this is the place for you. They give you an entire popcorn bowl-sized portion of bread for the table. This is perfect for dipping into your broth, oil, and seasonings. It was a delicious addition to our meal!
